To our valued customers and clients:
As the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact our community and lives, we want to reaffirm our commitment to you. It has never been more important for Associated Toronto Taxi-Cab Co-operative Limited (a.k.a. Co-op Cabs; Crown Taxi; Royal Taxi; Emery Mobility; Emery Transportation) to ensure the safety of and support to our customers, drivers, employees and the community at large.
We have always viewed the transportation services we provide as an essential service and continue to do so. In the almost 65-year history of our company, providing safe and reliable transportation service has been our highest priority. We continue working around the clock to serve you.
We also recognize our commitment to our drivers and employees’ health and safety to be paramount. So, while our dispatch services and other departments will continue to operate, we are scaling back the number of staff attending our offices. To better support the social distancing highly recommended by public health departments, we are also reorganizing our layout within our work areas. We are continuously communicating reminders about maintaining good hygiene practices to our employees and drivers alike.
Many employees and drivers have included in their practices utilizing personal protective equipment, such as wearing gloves and masks, thus protecting the health and safety of customers, the general public as well as themselves. Customers calling are asked screening questions to ensure transportation for all remains safe. We also are sending a strong message to those who are not feeling well to stay home. In our goal to continue to provide you service, we want to ensure your health and safety as well as that of our employees and drivers.
Our motto, “At Your Service”, has never been more true than now. We know that working together we will come out stronger and with greater commitment to one another.
Be well and healthy.
